PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This conference will provide participants the ability to acquire additional techniques of evaluation, management and training for tennis players.

AUDIENCE PROFILE
Physicians, PT, ATC, Strength & Conditioning, Fitness & Tennis Coaches, & tennis enthusiasts interested in understanding the various medical, orthopaedic, performance and injury prevention issues.

COURSE OBJECTIVES
This conference will provide participants the ability to acquire additional techniques of evaluation, management, and training for tennis players.

Identify medical & musculoskeletal issues specific to tennis:


Upon completion participant will be able to:

~ Apply information in their technique to know
   how to evaluate the injured tennis player
~ Acquire additional techniques of evaluation,
   management & appropriate need for advanced
   techniques and procedures to tennis and other
   athletes
~ Cite new recommendations in medical issues
   that affect a tennis player's ability to compete,
   such as heat and hydration

Acquire additional techniques for tennis performance including on-court session:


Upon completion participant will be able to:


~ Improve tennis performance and reduce injury

Describe updated evidence-based approaches to tennis specific medical & musculoskeletal conditions:

Upon completion participant will be able to:

~ Incorporate an understanding of epidemiology of
   injuries in various levels of tennis players in their
   decision-making regarding injury prevention
~ Identify earlier, tennis specific injuries to prevent
   long-term morbidities
~ Utilize tennis-specific evaluation and treatment to
   return to play after injury with back injuries
